Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita and CGGB Chairman Kameswara Rao distributing loans to the beneficiaries in Prattipadu on Tuesday

Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to the welfare of women that's why he is implementing several welfare schemes for their welfare.

She addressed a meeting held at Prattipadu under the aegis of Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank and distributed loans to the beneficiaries. She said the government is implementing Amma-Vodi, Zero rate of interest, YSR Cheyutha, YSR Asara, Jagananna Chedodu, schemes for the welfare of women. She called upon the women to avail the schemes and get benefitted.

She further added that for implementing the above schemes, the government is distributing loans through the Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank.

The Home Minister added that she was happy to distribute loans to the beneficiaries in Prattipadu.

She distributed Rs 26 crore loans through eight branches of CGGB. The bank officials distributed Rs 14.45 crore through the bank. Similarly, under the Cheyuta Scheme, the bank officials distributed Rs 2.75 crore loans to the beneficiaries and added that they have extended insurance coverage to one lakh beneficiaries.

CGGB chairman T Kameswara Rao, Union Bank regional head M Srinivas were present.
