Home Minister Sucharita introduce Disha Act bill in AP Assembly

Amaravati: AP Home Minister Sucharita has introduced the Disha Act bill in the Assembly on Friday. This act is brought forward by the government in order to provide severe punishments for the accused who conduct sexual assault against women and girls.

While presenting the bill, Minister said that in AP Jaganna is a raksha for women. If anyone tries to touch them, then they will get severe punishments. Under this act, the investigation would be completed in 14 days and in 21 days, the punishment will be awarded to the accused. For which, special courts will be arranged.
