Hundi collection of Durga temple crosses 2 crore in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Revenue collection through Hundis at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri here crossed Rs 2 crore here on Tuesday.

The temple officials under the supervision of executive officer MV Suresh Babu counted the hundi collections donated by the devotees for the last 20 days. During the counting, it has been noticed that devotees donated an amount of Rs 2,18,65,266.

Archakas and employees took part in the counting process. A total of 585 gm of gold, 6 kg of silver were part of the offerings.
