Former union minister, scion of Vijayanagaram royal family, P.Ashok Gajapathiraju stated that he would become chairman of MANSAS trust soon. He was removed from the trust board and as a chairman recently and Sanchaita Gajapathi Raju is appointed in the post by the government. On Monday Ashok spoke to media and expected that courts would decide what is the fact.

He alleged that the AP government is violating the constitutional norms, rules and moving in its own way. Even it's not honouring the rulings and judgements given by the high court. "I don't think that it would honour the high court's judgements regarding MANSAS trust too. Don't compare the demolitions and renovation works undertaken in the fort with the demolition of 'Three Lamps Piller' recently. Sanchaita Gajapathi, who has been away from all these functionaries right from her birthday has all of the sudden appointed chairperson of Mansas and speaking on several issues.

But she didn't visit even once during the lifetime of her father late Ananda Gajapathi. She maintained good relation with neither her father nor grandfather PVG Raju. She didn't participate not even in a single program in 105 temples managed by Mansas trust but now, all of sudden she is targeting me. The leaders of the present government is planning to grab the valuable lands belong to Simhachalam temple. Now the leaders are planning to grab the lands at leader price on the name of the regulation. If Ananda Gajapathi is alive, he would have felt bad with all these consequences, Ashok said. Aditi Gajapathi, daughter of Ashok Gajapathi Raju also participated in the program.
