IIIT Classes To Begin In Ongole Campus From September 30

Ongole: Good news for the IIIT students of the district. The state government has given a nod for the district students to study staying in Ongole. As the prestigious triple IT classes begin in Ongole, the authorities are taking steps to reovate the buildings. In the 2016, the IIIT college was announced to the district and named it Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam named it IIIT. Though the College was granted to the Ongole, it was shifted to Iduppulapadu due to lack of buildings and other facilities.

Three batches of students from the district are studying in IIIT. The fourth batch of students from the district are ready for admissions. Soon after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became Chief Minister, he focused on Education department and ordered senior officials to conduct IIIT classes in Ongole at Rao & Naidu Engineering College.

The newly formed IIIT College at Rao and Naidu Engineering College in the outskirts of Ongole is all set to launch the classes on September 30 from 7 am to 9 pm. The Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University will attend the inauguration of the classes. Students and parents are expressing their happiness as IIIT classes start in Ongole from the current academic year.
