Imbibe the spirit of Babuji: JEO
Tirupati: TTD Joint Executive Officer (JEO) B Lakshmikantham on Friday called up on the employees of TTD to imbibe the quality of service from the life ofgreat leader Babu Jagjivan Ram. Addressing the 112th Jayanthi celebration of Jagjivan Ram held at Annamacharya Kalamandir here on Friday, the JEO said, Babuji was a dedicated person and discharged his responsibilities with utmost vigour and dedication.
He successfully executed many cabinet posts with aplomb. I wish all of us should learn that love and dedication towards the work assigned to achieve fruitful results in the mission given to us," he maintained.
Mahila Varsity Law Department Assistant Professor Sunita, Twins Talent Techno School founder Sivaji, Skill Development Corporation Executive Director Subramanyam also spoke on the versatility of Babuji.
Later, the JEO gave away the communal awards which were introduced for the first time along with five-gram silver medallion to five employees, who excelled in their department including Deputy EO Srinivasam Chengalrayalu, Deputy EE (Radio and Broadcasting) B Rama Devi, China Babu and Subbaiah.
TTD Welfare Officer Snehalatha, officers and employees took part. Rich tributes paid to Jagjivan Ram at a function held under the aegis of Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) SC, ST Special Cell. Varsity V-C VVN Rajendra Prasad, SC ST Cell liaison officer Gopi Nayak and others paid floral tributes to the portrait of Babuji and recalled his outstanding contribution for the society more so for oppressed sections.
The Walker Association president T Janardhan, who paid floral tribute to Jagjivan Ram statue in Bairagipatteda here, said despite facing many hurdles and humiliations since his childhood Jagjivan Ram virtually fought his way to come up life. His life and achievement are an inspiration to the aspiring young, he said.
