Indian Ambassador in USA hosts lunch to Jagan
Amaravati: Indian Ambassador in the USA, Harshavardhan Pringla hosted a lunche to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife on Saturday.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had a meeting with the leaders of various sectors and later met the foreign affairs diplomats of Southern Asia.
The Chief Minister later had a meeting with Irfan Nuruddin of the Atlantic Council Southern Asia Centre and invited Claudia Lilian of the renowned pharmaceutical firm Gilid to have a tie-up with the pharmaceutical firms in Andhra Pradesh to manufacture medicines for HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis B and C.
Jagan called on the US firm Gilid to utilise the facilities available in AP for the manufacture of high-end medicines and asked the representatives to provide high technical expertise to the pharma sector in Andhra Pradesh.
