Indrakiladri: All Set For Dussehra Sarnavaratri Utsavalu

The Dussehra Mahotsavam is all set to be held at Sri Durga Malleshwara Swamy Temple. Millions of devotees across the state and country are expected to attend the 10-day celebrations. The temple officials are making all the necessary arrangements. The decoration and pooja ceremonies will be conducted on Sunday morning. (September 29).

Devotees are allowed to visit the temple at 9 am. On the first day, they can see Goddess as Swarnakavachakantru Durga Devi. On the sixth floor of the Maha Mandapam, pooja ceremonies are conducted to mark the festival and then followed by Chandiyaagam. Officials are expecting that a record number of devotees would attend the event on the first day.

"This year, Bondobastu is divided into 25 sectors, with a staff of 2,500 under the commissioner and another 2,500 staff from different districts," said the CP. Along with them, 35 armed forces are in the fray.

CM To Present Silk cloth To Goddess On October 5

Kannababu said that on October 5, CM Jaganmohan Reddy would be presenting the silk cloths to the seller. During the celebrations, the police department is coordinating with Deity Department, Revenue, Police, NCC and NSS volunteers.
