Inspect amenities in rest houses frequently: EO Anil Kumar Singhal
Tirupati: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal has directed the senior officials to regularly inspect the facilities provided for devotees at TTD rest houses.
Speaking after a review meeting at the TTD Administrative Building on Monday, the EO said all senior officials should frequently inspect the TTD rest houses and submit a report on required development works.
The EO asked them to promote a landscape garden and greenery and fencing around Sri Padmavathi Rest house at Tirumala. He wanted the ongoing works of queue lines and others at the Narayanagiri Gardens to be completed on a war footing. Similarly, he wanted noise-free fans to be installed at many locations inside Srivari temple.
Anil also directed the officials to assess the water storage in reservoirs to meet the requirements of devotees and to increase the capacity of drain water treatment plant at Balaji Nagar so that treated water could be utilised for gardening. He also directed the officials to remove unwanted sign boards in Tirumala, ensure that the counting of coins in Srivari Hundi done on a daily basis and deposited in banks.
The EO directed the officials to remove temporary sheds of TTD engineering departments and build more toilets on Alipiri walkers' path. JEO K S Srinivasa Raju, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, in-charge JEO and FA and CAO O Balaji participated.
