Integrity paves way for corrupt-free society: JC

Kakinada: Joint Collector G Lakshmisha said that to achieve a better society free from corruption, integrity should be a way of life. He was participating in an awareness program organised at Collectorate here on Wednesday in connection with Vigilance Awareness Week.

He said that all the employees should follow good governance based on transparency, accountability and fairness. Every employee should be sensitized on laws and regulations relevant to their work for honest discharge of their duties.

He also said honesty and integrity should be taken to the future generations by practicing them in present society. The Joint Collector suggested the Vigilance department to create more awareness among the public for corrupt-free practices.

Regional Vigilance and Enforcement Officer U Ravi Prakash said that the department was taking steps for protection of public funds and for extending quality services by the government departments. DRO Ch Sathi Babu, Deputy Director of Information Department M Francis and others were present.
