Update: 2019-11-24 15:30 IST

It seems, the YCP government decided to hand over the responsibility to Kodali Nani to counter the religious criticism by the Opposition TDP, BJP and Jana Sena in the English media and the Tirumala affairs. Along with Chandrababu, his son Lokesh, former minister Devineni Uma, BJP MP Sujana Chowdhary and Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan are unable to answer the minister's criticism.

Religious politics is booming in Andhra Pradesh. Lakshminarayana became silent for a few days who initially launched such criticism. However, the criticism he initiated is continued by his party's MP Sujana Chaudhary, TDP chief Chandrababu, his son Lokesh, former minister Devineni Uma and Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan. Almost all of them have been criticized for religiously targeting CM. They have made the same agenda their agenda, claiming that there is a religious conspiracy in the English language.

Chandrababu and his party leaders have repeatedly said that the Jagan declaration was not given in Tirumala. Pawan Kalyan, however, is asking whether Jagan will take a step back and accept Jagan Thirumala Laddu. Pawan's sarcasm is being heard in Thirumala as well as in English as part of his comments against the implementation of the English language in the state.

The government thinks that other criticisms or oppositions have chosen religious politics in the state to target the self-professed Christian CM Jagan. Minister Kodali Nani has burst into the field. In the press meet to give a counter to TDP leader Devineni and made derogatory comments on Chandrababu. The TDP and BJP have been vehemently opposed also complained with the police over the minister's comments. But the minister, who did not fall back, has increased in a few days. His criticisms of Sujana Chowdhury along with Chandrababu and Lokesh, are outrageous. Yet he does not seem to be backing down any more. Initially reported that CM Jagan had objected to criticism of Kodali Nani.

However, it is understandable because of the developments that have taken place over a few days. The opposition is now choking with the heat of criticism that Nani has been committed to. It is not an exaggeration that the leaders do not like even the minister's reputation. It seems the ruling party is ready to take control of the religious criticism with a verbal attack. There is plenty of opportunities to continue this war of words at the Assembly's Winter Session beginning December 9.
