It's not right time to hold assembly sessions: Chandrababu Naidu

The former chief minister and TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu appealed to everyone to adopt personal hygiene. Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, he said that everyone has to follow the five steps to curb coronavirus and act responsibly. He also advised the government for a special package to help the poor. Chandrababu opined that those who came from abroad had to be quarantined, who had become a delay leading to a threat. Naidu said that the towns, municipalities and villages need to be cleansed.

Workers who can't find work during a lockdown are to be saved. In the past, we have supplied the necessities during the Hood storm as a relief to the poor. "It should be delivered now in the same way as well, " Naidu added. He welcomed the Central Election Commission's decision of postponing Rajya Sabha elections.

Also, Naidu opined that it is not fair to hold AP assembly meetings in this situation; the state government should rethink this and should follow the warnings of the Centre over coronavirus. This is not the right time for politics. The Telugu Desam Party president said that they are in the right direction without doing any politics as this is not the time for politics.
