Amaravati: The YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy landed in troubled waters, as the party chief and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered thorough inquiry into allegations on the MLA, on Saturday.

Sridhar Reddy allegedly harassed Venkatachalam MPDO Sarala. The MPDO was reportedly denied to give a water tap connection for an illegal real estate venture in the Mandal, which was owned by close associate of the MLA. Reacting to this denial, Sridhar Reddy has started harassing the official. The victim Sarala tried to lodge a complaint with the police, but they denied to take the complaint against the MLA. Hence, she staged a protest in front of the police station on Friday, which triggered the issue into news.

As soon as Jagan returned from New Delhi, he instructed the DGP Gautam Sawang to take legal action, if able to produce the evidence in this case.

The CM Office informed in communication that, DGP has reported all the details about the incident to Chief Minister. "Jagan is keen on equality of justice for everyone. The Chief Minister has ordered not to tolerate anyone who disobey the law. He also instructed DGP not to step back for legal actions if able to produce evidence", the CMO officials informed.
