Amaravati: The Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was playing a diversion tactic in the name of CBI inquiry on the previous government, criticised the TDP AP president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao in a statement on Thursday. He said that Jagan was diverting the attention of the public from his corruption.

Venkata Rao questioned that if the Chief Minister was genuine in his actions, then why did not he order a CBI probe into his uncle's death case? Why did not the State government ask CBI to inquire into the Kodi Kathi case, in which the accused person attacked Jagan himself? He demanded a CBI inquiry on the corruption allegations in house sites distribution, purchase of land from farmers for the same scheme, other scams in lands, sand, liquor.

The TDP leader said that Jagan could not divert the public attention from the J-Tax since it was rampant in the State. Venkata Rao opined that there was no change in the attitude of the Chief Minister, after seeing the decisions in the cabinet. He said that Jagan was trying to blame the opposition and threaten the leaders in order to hide his failures and corruption.
