Jagan warns his colleagues over corruption
Amaravati: Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy warned his colleagues over corruption practices, during the cabinet meeting conducted on Wednesday at the secretariat. Without naming the particular ministers, CM warned that he will remove the corrupt ministers from the cabinet. In fact, it is his second warning to the ministers. When he spoke like this for about five minutes, there was a pin drop silence in the cabinet hall and a feeling of shock was observed on the faces of all the ministers and officials sitting there, according to the sources.
"I came to know the corrupt practices of one or two ministers. I will speak them personally, as I don't want to reveal the names here. I will take action, if you don't change Media is watching each and every activity of the government. If you don't change your corrupt practices and will be exposed by media, there will be pressure on me and I have to remove you from the cabinet.", Jagan stated this in the cabinet meeting, sources revealed.
Further, he observed that he selected them out of the 150 elected MLAs, trusting that they are the best. When he has been trying to give good governance, these type of corrupt practices from ministers wouldn't be good for the government as well as party, he observed.
Moreover, he also stated that if he will take action on the corrupt ministers, then it will be embracement for both, himself and the accused minister.
After discussing on it, Jagan also directed the officials to take action against fake and false news with malicious intention if published in media against the government. He suggested that every secretary should assess the validity and truth in the negative news and if they found the news as wrong, then most take legal action on it on the same day or next day.
