Jammalamadugu MLA inspected lands for steel plant
Kadapa: In view of laying the foundation stone for a steel plant by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on 26th December, Jammalamadugu MLA Dr.M.Sudheer Reddy along with collector CH. Harikiran has inspected lands at Sunnapurallapalle, Peddadunduluru areas on Thursday.
Speaking after inspecting the lands Jammalamadugu MLA Dr M.Sudheer Reddy said that Sunnaralla Palle is the suitable place for the establishment of steel plant as it was situated nearer to Jammalamadugu, Proddaturu towns, and also nearby national high way. He said that there also sufficient availability of sufficient water from Mylavaram Reservoir.
District Collector CH. Harikiran said that following the directions of the government administration is sending proposals to land alienation for the establishment of Andhra Pradesh High-Grade Steel Corporation Steel Plant. He said that administration is collecting the information about the availability of government lands in 2 are 3 places in Jammalamadugu constituency.
He said that Sunnapurallapalle is most suitable for the purpose as there was 95percent of government land is available as it was located right side of Brahmani steels and also possible for construction of the pipeline from RTPP, water availability, rail track etc facilities. Revenue officials were present.
