Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan asks governor to intervene on sand shortage in the state
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan met Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan. He explained the problems caused by the shortage of sand in the state. Pawan, who went to Raj Bhavan in Amravati on Tuesday, handed over the letter to the governor on the issue of sand shortage.
Pawan's letter stated that many construction workers in the state are losing their jobs due to the shortage of sand. The party has already taken the issue to the attention of the government at various forums and conferences. He criticized the state government for not responding properly. Pawan recalled that Jana Sena held a huge long march demanding the restoration of the sand supply and thereby creating employment opportunities for the workers.
Janasena asked the governor to intervene on the issue and take steps to ensure that the government responds. Pawan Kalyan will reportedly hold a press conference at the Jana Sena party office at 4 pm this evening.
