Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to launch Jai kisan program to help tenant farmers
- He stressed that the Government should give at least Rs 35,000 compensation to farmers who lost their crops due to Nivar cyclone rains

Tirupati: JanaSena Party President and film star Pawan Kalyan announced that soon his party will launch the " Jai Kisan" programme to protect the tenant farmers rights and benefits. Addressing the media in Tirupati city on Thursday PK stated that farmers are not getting profits and minimum support price for their agriculture produces.
"In the situation, we have decided to fight for their benefits, all the government has been thinking about only landlords and general farmers, nobody bothers about tenant farmers benefits. During my visit in cyclone-affected areas in Krishan District, I noticed that one tenant farmer was committed suicide due to lack of Rs 12,000 for shifting damaged crop from filed to his house" he added.
Further Pawan Kalyana criticized that AP State Government is delaying in releasing compensation to farmers in cyclone affected districts. " We are demanding at least Rs 35000 compensation per acre and asking the government to give Rs 10000 to each farmer as immediate relief in flood affected areas where the crops damaged by the cyclone rains", he said.
He mentioned that "soon his party committees will give a detailed report on cyclone damages and crops losses. After deep study those reports will be submitted to the State Government as well as Central Government too".
In the press conference, Pawan Kalyana did not say directly over Delhi farmers stir that he is supporting or not and answered that the Union Government had brought this new bill in the interest of farmers and transforming the agriculture as a profit-making sector.
As concluding he told BJP-Jansena joint committee can decide the Tirupati By election candidate either from BJP nor from Jensena ". In the press conference Party Political Affairs incharge Nadendla Manohar, Dr HariPrasad, Tirupati Constituency Incharge Kiran Royal and others were present.
