The local body elections in Andhra Pradesh has been raising heat all across the state. In the latest twist, JC Diwakar Reddy's brother and former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy filed a nomination for the councillor post at 30th ward in Anantapur district. This has come surprise for many after former MP Diwakar Reddy has announced that the TDP would not contest in the Local Body elections in Anantapur.

JC Prabhakar Reddy, who was an MLA has surprised everyone by contesting for the councillor, which is far less than what he had served previously (MLA). On the other hand, he would take on Harshavardhan, the eldest son of Tadipatri MLA Kethieddy Pedda Reddy.

With this the Anantapur elections once again grabbed the attention with the contest between JC and Kethireddy family as they share a year's of enmity. However, if the reports are to be believed, JC Prabhakar Reddy is contemplating to take on Kethireddy who defeated the JC family in the last general elections.
