Jio crosses 10,000 mobile towers milestone in AP
Vijayawada: The mobile network giant Jio has crossed the key milestone of establishing 10,000 mobile towers in Andhra Pradesh making it the largest operator in the State in terms of both mobile network availability and reach, according to a communiqué from the Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.
Jio has become the largest mobile data network company in the country and garnered a subscriber base of over 314.8 million users (as per TRAI data for April 2019). Residents across Andhra Pradesh, too, have rapidly embraced Jio Digital Life with over 13.07 million subscribers across the State enjoying the digital ecosystem created by Jio.
Jio continues to add more and more subscribers across every district in the state, month after month, the communiqué stated.With its increased network presence, the Jio targets to reach out to each household in the State and offer the benefits of Jio Digital Life including seamless connectivity across the State, the robust and wide-reaching 4G network, Jio's unlimited voice and data benefits, access to a host of Jio premium Apps, comprising JioTV (the highly popular on-the-go, catch-up TV App), Jio Music, Jio Cinema and others, easy availability of Jio sims across the State, and a simple and convenient on boarding experience.
