J&K will see development now: Kanna Lakshminarayana

Guntur: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that by abolishing of Article 370, history was being re-written in the country and added that Jammu and Kashmir will see development.

He hoisted the national flag on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day celebrations at party state office here on Thursday. Speaking on this occasion, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully solved seven decades-old Kashmir problem and J&K became part of India.

He said that BJP had returned to power in the country because the welfare schemes being implemented by the Centre had reached eligible persons. As people have confidence on Narendra Modi leadership, they are voluntarily taking membership in the BJP, he said and conveyed Independence Day greetings to the people. Tobacco Board chairman Yadlapati Raghunadh Babu, former minister Ravela Kishore Babu and BJP Guntur city president Ammitsetty Anjaneyulu were present.
