Kadapa: 1.02 lakh registered for fee reimbursement under Navasakam

 Kadapa: Joint Collector- Siva Reddy has said that 1, 02,000 students registered their names for fees reimbursement under YSR Navasakam scheme for the year of 2019-20 in the district. An awareness meeting was held for principals on Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Jagananna Vasathi Deevena schemes and Joint Collector addressed the meet held at SV Engineering College here on Saturday. He said that the income of the beneficiary family should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh per year.

The JC-2 said that government is also extending financial help Rs 10,000 to ITI,Rs 15,000 to Polytechnic, Rs 20,000 to engineering students under Jagananna Vasathi Deevena scheme. The JC-2 detailed that in fresh cases, the beneficiary should apply for fees reimbursement in the institution in which he is studying. In the Second stage he should apply for YSR Navasakam scheme by submitting necessary documents for owning the benefit.
