The Chief Minister said he was fortunate to distribute 30 lakh house site deeds to the people. He expressed sadness for not able to launch the programme in his constituency of Pulivendula as some persons obtained stay orders by filing petitions in court alleging lands owned by Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corpiration (APIIC) can't be diverted to the purpose of house sites as they were purely meant for establishment of industries.

The Chief Minister pointed that whether the land owned by APIIC or other organisations, it was the government property as government had every right to utilise it for public purpose. He said that there were some other instances in the state where house site pattas' distribution was stalled in the same manner.

However, he expressed determination to overcome such problems and distribute the sites to the poor. "Beneficiaries need not worry as the government will move Supreme Couurt. I hope problem will be solved very soon," he said.
