Kadapa: Covid tests conducted for IIIT students ahead of exams

Kadapa: In view of PUC-2 examinations of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technology beginning from November 23, the university management began conducting Covid-19 tests from Wednesday. According to the official sources, total 2, 155 students would undergo tests.

Among them, 1,155 are from Idupulapaya IIIT and remaining 1,000 from Ongole IIIT. It has been decided to complete tests for all students and staff by November 21.

An official said that following the directions of the government, the university began functioning from November 2 and classes commenced on November 9.

He said that as part of precautionary measures, primary tests are being conducted to record Oxygen levels of students. He said that if any student or staff member is found to be affected by coronavirus, they would be sent home to avoid spread of disease.
