House pattas possible with able leadership of CM says Deputy CM Amzath Basha

Kadapa: A festive look was prevailed at YSR Jagananna colony layout at Vukkayapalle area in the city on Friday with the district administration launching distribution of house site pattas to 1,066 beneficiaries.

Launching the programme, Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha described it as remarkable one in the history of India. He said distribution 30,75,755 house sites was never happened earlier in the history of country as it was made possible under effective and able administration of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He said that the government was willing to spend Rs 50, 940 crore for construction of 28.30 lakh houses in the coming three years in the state. Apart from it, Basha said 15.60 lakh houses costing Rs 28,080 crore will be constructed in second phase. He said as many as 1.10 lakh poor were benefited under the scheme in district.

He said that state government was striving hard in the Supreme Court by filing a petition to vacate the stay orders of High Court related to 3.51 beneficiaries.

District Collector Ch Harikiran said the administration has selected as many as 20, 787 beneficiaries in the corporation limits and 1,066 beneficiaries in Vukkayapalle area in the city. He said that YSR Architecture University will be established in 100 acres of land near Vukkayapalle.
