Kadapa registers 54 fresh corona cases

Kadapa: The situation is turning more worse with the registration 54 fresh corona positive cases in the district taking the total number of cases to 840 on Saturday.

Twenty-six patients recovered from corona were discharged from quarantine centres in the district.

In view of containing the intensity of Covid-19, the district administration has declared 17 new containment zones in Badwel, Proddaturu, Valluru, Kadapa, Devunikadapa, Pullampet, Sambepalle, Khajipet, Kalasapadu, Duvvuru, Chapadu, Nandaluru, Porumamilla, Simhadripuram, Mydurukuru in the district.

With 12 days left for Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to district on July 8, the district administration is making all arrangements.

Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha released a brochure 'No Mask No Entry' printed by United Fasters Association in the city on Saturday.
