Kadapa: Rs 281.25 crore credited to farmers under Rythu Bharosa Scheme

Kadapa: Farmers of the district expressed happiness as amounts were credited in to their accounts under YSR Rythu Bharosa and PM Kisan Scheme on Friday. Under this scheme, Rs 218.25 crore were credited to 2,91,004 farmers in the district.

As per the norms, farmers will get financial assistance Rs 13,500 per year in three phases. The first instalment is Rs 7,500, followed by Rs 4,000 second instalment, and Rs 2,000 as third instalment.

As part of this initiative Rs 2,000 was already credited in to the accounts of farmers under first instalment and remaining Rs 5,500w as transferred on Friday.

A farmer K Srinivasulu Reddy of Kamalapuram constituency who participated in the video conference lauded Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for extending financial support to farmers though the state is facing financial problems.

Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha described YS Jagan Mohan Reddy rule as golden era for farm sector as lakhs of farmers are benefitted from the government.
