Kadapa: Saikanth Varma takes charge as another Joint Collector

Kadapa: Chittari Macharouthu Saikanth Varma, a 2015 batch IAS officer took charge as another Joint Collector for YSR Kadapa district here on Monday. He will work for strengthening village secretariats and initiate development schemes.

Saikanth Varma is a native of Kurnool district and had completed engineering course in IIIT Chennai. He had , worked as software engineer in popular organisations like Google, Amazon etc for some time.

After completion of IAS he was first posted as Sub-Collector to Rajamahendravaram of East Godavari district. He also worked as Project Officer of Integrated Tribal Development Agency(ITDA) at Seethampet. The new JC said that he was appointed to strengthen village secretariats.
