Tension erupts in Pulivendula after two groups attack over disputes in YSRCP

The differences among the party cadre in Chief Minister YS Jagan's own constituency Pulivendula in Kadapa district has been reported. A clash took place between YSRCP members in Vempalli mandal Idupulapaya in the constituency. Many were injured in the clashes. Going into details, YSRCP leaders and activists marched from house to house on the occasion of the completion of three years for YS Jagan Praja Sankalpa Yatra , at around 10 pm, the leaders of the two factions attacked each other with sticks. Four members of the Pullayya community of Veerannagattupalle were attacked and seriously injured by the Chalapathi community of Idupulapaya

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The injured were rushed to hospitals. It is learnt that both the parties have lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. The Pullaiah community claimed in their police complaint that they were attacked in the wake of the old factions. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, it is known that there was a clash between the two factions of the YSRCP in Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district recently. Gurunath Reddy, a follower of Ramasubba Reddy, was killed by MLA Sudhir Reddy in the community. This created a tense situation in the area. However, Ramasubba Reddy clarified that the murder of Gurunath Reddy would be brought to the notice of CM Jagan.
