Kaikaluru: Sand will be delivered at doorstep says MLA Doolam Nageshwara Rao

Kaikaluru: MLA Doolam Nageshwara Rao said here on Wednesday that the sand that was booked online would be delivered at doorstep in Kaikaluru constituency.

He along with Market Yard chairperson Gummadi Sailaja inaugurated the sand stock point set up by the AP State Mineral Development Corporation on the premises of the market yard here.

The MLA said that the sand stock point was sanctioned immediately after he requested Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and District Collector A Mohammad Imtiaz.

The sand at the rate of Rs 810 per tonne would be supplied to the needy people, he said."The sand would be supplied only to the people of Kaikaluru assembly constituency from this stock point," he added.

The MLA also thanked ministers Kodali Nani, Perni Nani, Velampalli Srinivasa Rao, for sanctioning the stock point. He appealed to the people to utilise the facility and book online for sand. Several officials and others participated in the programme.
