Kakinada: AIM takes out rally in support of English medium
Kakinada: Ambedkar's India Mission (AIM) has conducted a rally here on Thursday, expressing its solidarity to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy who introduced English medium in government schools.
The rally commenced from Mc Lauren High School and concluded at Dr BR Ambedkar statue in which about 2,000 students participated. The organisers said English medium was the need of the hour in government schools in the State which benefits lakhs of poor and middle class students.
Studying in English medium would elevate the poor and middle class students and helps to get jobs on par with the other students. They would be in a better position in bagging employment opportunities, they added. They said that it would also boost their self-confidence. The organisers hailed the decision of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
