CPI to fight against hiked property tax

Kakinada: CPI district secretary Tatipaka Madhu has said that the party will fight against the property tax hike in a phased manner.

Participating in party executive committee meeting held here on Tuesday, he said the enhanced property tax mounting pressure on the people who have been already facing many problems due to corona for nine months. They are expressing concern on the increased property tax.

The party will burn the copies of GO numbers 196 and 197 in holy Bhogi Mantalu on January 14, he said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are posing problems with their anti-people policies, he alleged. The people are observing the functioning of two governments.

Party leaders Nalla Rama Rao, S Ramanamma, V Kondala Rao, B Ramana and others were present.
