Kakinada: District students excel in power lifting

Kakinada: Two students N Rupesh and B Tulasi proved their mettle in inter-district power lifting championship competitions held at Jaggayyapeta of Krishna district held from February 24th to 26th under the aegis of Power Lifting Federation of Andhra Pradesh.

N Rupesh bagged a gold medal and B Tulasi got a bronze medal who are studying Intermediate first year at SKBR College and tenth class in the Zilla Parishad High School in Amalapuram. The duo belongs to Indupalli village near Amalapuram.

Minister for Social Welfare Pinepe Viswaroop congratulated the two students and assured to extend necessary help for them in future if they bring laurels in the field of sports.
