Kakinada: None can stop decentralisation: Kannababu
Kakinada: Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu said that nobody including former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu can stop the development and growth of the State and also decentralisation of administration in the State.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Kannababu said that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was enacting dramas in the name of Praja Chaitanya Yatras. He said the TDP leaders were yet to learn lessons though they suffered a crushing and humiliating defeat in 2019 Assembly elections.
Stating that Naidu had failed to respond to several welfare schemes introduced by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohann Reddy like Amma Vodi and Jagannana Vasathi Deevena but the Opposition leader had expressed concern over the rise in price of liquor.
Kannababu questioned why Naidu fears probe by the Special Investigation Team which will only investigate into charges of corruption and expose truth. He pointed out that Naidu and his son Lokesh remained silent when I-T raids were conducted on the former Chief Minister's ex-personal secretary.
