Kakinada: Pigs add to woes of Dairy Farm Centre residents

Kakinada: Traffic pollution, mosquito problem, lack of proper drainage system and other basic amenities have made life miserable for the inhabitants of the Dairy Farm Centre. The locality became a breeding ground for mosquitoes and wallowing place for pigs.

The residents have been facing several problems despite the tag of Smart City. Lack of dumping yard, frequent change of municipal health officers (MHOs) and failure of elected representatives to represent peoples' grievances are said to be some of the reasons for the existing situation. Now, pigs are moving in groups creating a lot of inconvenience to public and to the households.
