Kakinada: Police personnel told to focus on physical, mental health

Kakinada: A 15 day-demobilisation training programme commenced for the District Armed Reserve Police personnel at the district Police Parade Grounds here on Monday.  

District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi, participating as the chief guest, said that physical and mental fitness helps the police personnel discharge their duties in a disciplined manner. He said that the training will last till February 24 and it will make AR police physically and mentally fit as it consists of regular exercises and yoga.

Asmi said that in the training period, the Armed Reserve personnel should improve their skills in various segments like field craft, firing practice and physical training. He also said that there should be no communication gap between the higher officials and front level police personnel while discharging their duties. The police should look after their health with proper diet and stay active. They should learn using latest technology and devices. The police from top level to ground level should work mutually with discipline in achieving good name to the district police and officials. AR Additional SP VS Prabhakar Rao, AR DSP SV Appa Rao, SB DSP M Ambika Prasad, AR Reserve Inspector P Eshwar Rao and others were present.
