Kakinada: Scarcity of doctors to treat Covid-19, admits Collector D Murlaidhar Reddy

Kakinada: District Collector D Murlaidhar Reddy accepted that there is scarcity of doctors to treat Covid-19 patients in East Godavari district.

However, he advised the virus-affected patients to adjust themselves with the available number of the doctors and facilities in the exiting hospitals.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, the Collector informed that two Covid-19 Care Centers (CCC) with 1,890 beds would be ready to provide better care for the patients in the district.

One with 1,350 beds at Bommuru and another with 540 beds at Samolkot would come up soon, he said.
