Kanipakam temple opens on June 8
Chittoor: Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy temple will be opened on Monday and devotees would be allowed into the temple as per the prescribed conditions of ensuing lockdown according to Venkatesh, Executive Officer.
Speaking to media men at Kanipakam on Saturday, he said 300 devotees would be ensured Darsan per hour and entry into Garbham ayam of the temple is prohibited along with Satari and Theerdham. Prasadams would be supplied at the outside of the temple. Each devotee should wear traditional dress.
Wearing face mask is mandatory to the devotees. Before entry into the temple, thermal screening test would be done. Any devotee finds in unhealthy condition would be sent back. All the cheque lines, Kalyan akatta, Temple Cottages, would be cleaned with hypochlorite once in two hours and sanitizers are kept available at all places in the temple for the use of the devotees.
No devotee would be allowed to have a dip in Pushkarani of the temple, the EO added. Nithya anna danam would be held accordingly, he further disclosed.
