Kanna criticises YSRCP govt for repeating mistakes of TDP
Guntur: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that in 2014 TDP government created anarchy in the villages with the cooperation of police and now the YSRCP was doing the same. He accused the YSRCP of following the footsteps of the TDP and committing the same mistakes.
A large number of TDP activists joined BJP in the presence of Lakshminarayna at a programme held in the party state party office here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he recalled that Y S Rajasekhar Reddy government maintained comparatively good relations with opposition parties.
He alleged that though the government had changed, illegal mining has been continuing in the state and urged the YSRCP government to nab the culprits instead of simply speaking about corruption and irregularities.
He said due to alliance with TDP, BJP suffered losses in the state twice and made it clear that the BJP will go alone in the state hereafter. He said, there are protests in the state opposing merger of Andhra Bank with other nationalised banks and added that he will take up the issue with the Central government.
Referring to party membership drive, he said, more Dalits and Muslims were joining the party. TDP activists from Vinukonda, Bollapalli and Savalyapuram mandals joined in the party in presence of Lakshminarayana.
