Kapileswara temple Brahmotsavams conclude with Trisula Snanam

Trishula Snanam being performed at the Pushkarini of Kapileswa Swamy temple in Tirupati to mark the conclusion of Brahmotsavams on Sunday

Tirupati: To mark the conclusion of ongoing Brahmotsavams, Trisula Snanam was performed at Sri Kapileswarsa Swamy temple in Tirupati on Sunda morning after the Surya Prabha Vahanam. TTD Joint Executive Officer P Basant Kumar along with large number of devotees participated in the event.

Earlier a traditional Snapana Thirumanjanam was performed to Trisula. JEO Basant Kumar said devotees were happy about arrangements made by TTD and had participated in large number. TTD had spent Rs 20.5 lakhs for civil engineering works including for providing adequate parking place near the temples and Rs 6 lakhs for electrical decorations for the Brahmotsavam.

In all four tonnes of flowers were for decoration of Vahanam and also temple complex.

Anna Prasadam was organised daily to 500 devotees during Brahmotsavams and for large number on the Nandi Vahanam day. In addition, drinking water, milk, buttermilk were provided daily to devotees. The Brahmotsavams final day event of Dwaja Avarohanam was held on Sunday evening followed by the Ravanasura Vahanam.
