The Karthika Pournami celebrations are in full swing at the Srikalahasti Temple under the auspices of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Meanwhile, temple officials are taking strict measures in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. Devotees are advised to follow social distance.

Meanwhile, the devotees from all over Andhra Pradesh are flocking to the beaches to have a holy dip on this auspicious day. Police have set up strong security to prevent any untoward incidents. The temples such as Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple in Vijayawada, Srisailam, Draksharamam, Vemulawada, Dharmapuri, Kaleswaram and other famous Shaiva temples are abuzz with devotees. The temples authorities across two Telugu states have made all the arrangements at temples without any difficulty for the devotees in view of covid.
