Kartika Purnima: Devotees offer prayers at all temples across two Telugu states

During the Kartika full moon, the temples in the Telugu states are crowded with devotees. A large number of devotees who have been worshipping the dawn have flocked to the temples. Lord Shiva offered special Pujas and Abhishekas. After that, the Kartika lamps are lit up. Devotees gaze at the beaches of rivers. Kartika Purnima worship is performed in Keesaragutta in Medchal district. Devotees were crowded at Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple.

On the other hand, Badrachalam is crowded with devotees on the banks of the Godavari River. Since dawn, devotees have been practising pilgrimage and lighting the river. Devotees broke into Balabrahmeshwaraswamy temple in Jogulamba district. Devotees perform rituals on the banks of the Tungabhadra River as well.

Devotees flocked to the Godavari River at Dharmapuri in Jagatyala district and worshipped the Lord. The devotees lit up in the river by observing the pilgrimage at Bheemeshwaraswamy of Draksharama in Andhra Pradesh, one of the Panchakarma Kshethras
