KCP students excel in athletic meet

Vijayawada: The students of KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School won gold, silver and bronze medals at CBSE Cluster VII Athletic Meet held at Hyderabad, said the school principal K Sreehari on Tuesday.

He informed that the students bagged eight gold, eight silver and three bronze medals in the CBSE Cluster-VII Athletic meet held from September 27 to 30 at Hyderabad. About 2,000 students from 200 CBSE schools from across two Telugu states participated in the mega event and the school students bagged medals.

He said that the school was putting its best efforts in providing special training to these students so as to enable them to win medals. Management of Siddhartha Academy, secretary Paladugu Lakshmana Rao, president N Venkateswarlu, convenor Veerapaneni Sasi Kala congratulated the winners and teachers of the Physical Education Department for their achievement.
