Keen to develop skills of youth, says APSSDC Chief
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) Chairman Challa Madhusudhan Reddy has said the government was keen on developing skills of students and unemployed youth to provide jobs for them.
He along with Managing Director Dr A Srikanth released a poster on 'Student leader and Higher Education' here on Thursday. He said as part of their efforts, they have taken the initiative to train engineering students with high-end training programme in Robotics and Mechotronics by Germany based European Centre for Mechotranics by entering into an MoU with the centre, he said.
The programme is jointly funded and supported by German based academic and research partners like German Center for Advanced Studies, European Center for Mechatronics, SGIT-Steinbeis University under project "Research Presence in India" by BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany) with other industry partners, IGUS Germany.
In the day-long workshop jointly organized by the APSSDC and Indo Europeon Skill Centers, Germany here, Dr Arja Srikanth, MD and CEO of APSSDC, VVN Raju, President, ECM Germany, Dr Till Quadflig, Dr Arnold Spitta from Germany participated as guests.
