Kodela Sivaprasada attack case: Tension prevails in Sattenapalli over police action on villagers
Guntur: The police have intensified the action on identifying the attackers in Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada attack case.
With the help of CCTV footage, they are trying to track the attackers. A team of 50 policemen from Sattenapalli division have reached Inumella village.
Regarding the attack, the police have conducted the search in the village and ordered no villager should leave the place without their permission.
It's said that so far six people were taken into custody. With this again the tension situation developed in the village.
On 11 April during AP elections, Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao was attacked at Inumella village in Sattenapalli constituency.
The YSRCP workers protested against Kodela for entering the polling booth and attacked him by throwing stones. In the incident, Kodela's car was damaged, even his driver was injured along with him in the attack.
The police took the incident seriously after receiving the complaint from TDP leaders.
