Ward Volunteer snatches a gold chain from an older woman in Krishna district

Ward volunteer from Jaggayyapet mandal in Krishna district snatched a chain from an older woman. The older woman named Mattapalli Rajyalakshmi, a resident of Aakulavari Street while Suresh is a volunteer for the same ward.

He went to the older woman's house for an inquiry on the applications filed for welfare schemes on Monday night and asked her to bring Aadhaar card. As soon as she turned her way inside, Suresh pulled the chain from the older woman's neck and fled from the scene.

The locals reached the spot after hearing victims screams. The victim immediately complained about the police. The police are searching for Suresh. The full details of the event are yet to be known.
