Krishnashtami celebrated at Delhi Public School

Vijayawada: On the eve of Janmashtami, the Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School (DPS) celebrated the birth of Sri Krishna with great enthusiasm, according to the school principal G Mala here on Friday.

She said that all the students came dressed up as Krishna and Gopika. UKG students performed a dance number on 'Yashomati Mayya' song. The LKG students sang a few Sri Krishna bhajans like 'Achustham Keshavam' & 'Taarangam'. The dahi hundi was broken with great delight by the students. The programme came to an end with the distribution of prasad, she added.
