Kurnool: Don't create unrest in villages, Kotla tells YSRCP leaders

Kurnool: TDP senior leader and former Union Minister Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy advised the ruling party leaders not to ignite splits among the villagers who are living in harmony.

While addressing media persons at TDP office here on Tuesday, he flayed the Kodumur MLA J Sudhakar for removing some members from Irrigation Society.

Kotla said that the YSR Congress party is trying to ignite splits among the villagers who are living in harmony.

He said some persons belonging to TDP are working as members in irrigation societies for a long time at Kambadal village in C Belagal mandal. Recently, the MLA had removed them and inducted their party men in their place.

The attitude of MLA would affect the peaceful atmosphere among the villagers, Kotla said.

He demanded the ruling party to complete the pending irrigation projects like, Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS), Gundrevula and Vedavathy. These projects have been accorded permissions during TDP rule.

He asked the MLA to exert pressure on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to complete these projects. He further alleged that the welfare schemes are being given only the families suggested by the volunteers.

Kotla further alleged that none of the eligible people are listed in house site pattas. Almost all ineligible persons are identified as eligible and the actual eligible are ignored, he alleged.

TDP district president Somi Shetty Venkateshwarulu also spoke on the occasion.
