Kurnool: Mathematics Day celebrated grandly at Anantha Lakshmi Engineering College

Kurnool: Marking the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujam, National Mathematics Day was grandly celebrated at Anantha Lakshmi Engineering College on Tuesday. College Principal Dr V Murthy Rao Khokle has said that the students pursuing education in Maths and statistics would have better prospects and a lot of job opportunities.

College Chairman M Ananta Ramudu said that maths was the basic for all sciences. The Indians are the founders of mathematical equations. He said Sriniasa Ramanujam was one of the most revered scientists among others that has brought name and fame to the nation. He gave a brief description of the research in maths made by the Ramanajuam to the students.

Senior lecturer in maths Dr Madhavi has taught the students about the simple ways to solve the problems and learning methods. Dr C Rajeshwari, lecturers, Dr Balaji, college vice chairman, M Ramesh Nidu, Dr C Rajeshwari, lecturers of various departments and students participated in the birth anniversary function.
