Kurnool: Nara Lokesh flays YSRCP government for diverting SC Sub-Plan funds

Kurnool : TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh on Saturday criticised the YSRCP government for diverting the SC sub-plan funds to the tune of thousands of crores to other schemes thereby doing great injustice to the Dalits.

He said the Dalits were not safe in Jagan’s government. It is the only government across the country which has filed cases of atrocities against the SC community people. Lokesh interacted with SCs at Halaharvi village on Saturday.

He continued his 84th day Yuva Galam padayatra in Yemmiganur constituency of Kurnool district on Saturday. During his padayatra in Nandavaram village in the constituency, the SC community people met him and brought their problems to his notice. They said that the YSRCP government has suspended all the welfare schemes that were implemented by the previous TDP government.

They urged Lokesh to restore all the welfare schemes immediately after the TDP returns to power. Lokesh assured to do justice to the community people.

At the same village, the Backward Class community people also met Lokesh and said that the YSRC government has done great injustice by diverting the BC Sub-Plan funds to the tune of Rs 75769 crore.

They urged Lokesh to revive all suspended welfare schemes besides extending subsidy loans through the BC Corporation. The Jaggapuram villagers said that they were facing acute drinking water problem.

The TDP national general secretary said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has betrayed the youth by failing to fulfill his promise of filling 2.3 lakh vacant posts immediately after the YSRCP forms the government.
